Stoneleigh Foundation is a Philadelphia-based operating foundation established in 2006 by John and Chara Haas. Stoneleigh’s mission is to improve the life outcomes of young people by advancing change in the systems that serve them, including youth justice, child welfare, education, health, and gun violence prevention. The Foundation advances this mission through Fellowships awarded to exceptional leaders, Youth Partnership Projects, and broader grantmaking. Supported by an endowment of over $110 million, Stoneleigh has no fundraising obligations, freeing its staff and board to focus entirely on mission-driven work and to invest in emerging issues before they enter the mainstream of philanthropic support.
