Stephen St. Vincent currently serves as the Deputy Director for Strategic Initiatives at the City of Philadelphia’s Managing Director’s Office.
Previously, he was Director of Policy and Planning at the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. Previously, Stephen was the In-House Counsel/Social Action Coordinator for The Philadelphia Citizen, where he provided legal counsel, helped organize and publicize the 2015 Citizen Voter Lottery, and created social action content for various published stories. He has served on multiple Mayoral and City Council campaigns, worked with nonprofits on issue advocacy, and published articles aimed at increasing civic engagement. Stephen also worked as an Assistant City Solicitor for Philadelphia’s Child Welfare Unit. As a Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow at the Field Center for Children’s Policy, Practice and Research from 2011-2012, Stephen examined jurisdictional gaps in child abuse statutes. He currently serves as the Board Chair of the Mental Health Partnerships.
Stephen holds BA degrees in astronomy and computer science from Swarthmore College and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
