Laura A. Williamson recently retired from a 25-year career at The Glenmede Trust Company where she served as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she was responsible for a number of business management functions, including finance, human resources, technology, client servicing support, and operations. She played a key role in managing the governance of the company and was a management representative for the Glenmede Board of Directors and its Compensation Committee. Prior to Glenmede, Laura was an Assurance professional with the public accounting firm EY.
Laura serves on the Board and Investment Committee of The Barra Foundation. Previously, she served on the Board of Philadelphia Futures, where she held the positions of Treasurer and President and participated in several major projects, including a merger, a strategic planning process, and a leadership succession.
Laura is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and a masters in business administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
