We are pleased to announce our 2019-2021 Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellows. The Emerging Leader Fellowship is a two-year, hands-on learning opportunity for early career professionals in Greater Philadelphia. Fellows work collaboratively with a host organization to execute projects that advance the mission of the organization and enhance Fellows’ skills. The 2019-2021 Fellows’ cohort will begin their projects in September 2019.

Enhancing Juvenile Probation through Graduated Response Implementation
Leah Brogan will work with Drexel University’s Juvenile Justice Research and Reform Lab to establish a technical assistance mentorship team model to support the expansion of the Graduated Response approach to juvenile probation statewide.

Addressing Adolescent Parents’ Mental Health Needs
Kali Hackett will work with PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to leverage the pediatric clinical setting to improve how the mental health needs of parenting teens are addressed.

Expanding Health Access for Philadelphia’s Adolescents and Young Adults
Cameron McConkey will work with Philadelphia FIGHT’s Youth Health Empowerment Project to lead a health needs assessment with youth ages 13-24 and develop a community-based model that expands health access for Philadelphia’s most vulnerable youth.

Karissa Phelps will work with Temple University Beasley School of Law to expand access to kinship care for child welfare-involved families and youth in Philadelphia.

Dijonée Talley will work with Health Promotion Council and CeaseFirePA to strengthen the role of youth voices in Pennsylvania’s gun violence prevention policy efforts.
