Former Stoneleigh Fellow and current Board Member Kevin Bethel recently spoke to Good Day Philadelphia about plans to establish twenty-five new school safety zones and to pay community members to keep students safe on their way to and from school.
As violence continues to ravage Philadelphia, city officials have plans to meet Monday to discuss student and school safety.
There have so far been 180 shooting victims under the age of 18 this year.
