The Stoneleigh Foundation hosted an informal evening reception to connect with and learn from key stakeholders committed to ending gun violence in Philadelphia.
In attendance were leaders from across the city, representing community-based organizations, government, law enforcement, media, philanthropy, healthcare, and academia. Stoneleigh Fellow Dr. Ruth Abaya offered a powerful and hopeful message about the importance of collaboration in gun violence prevention and intervention efforts. In addition, Stoneleigh introduced its latest cohort of Emerging Leader Fellows who are partnering with their host organizations to tackle gun violence using policy, practice, research, advocacy, organizing, and communications strategies.
