Ronnie joined the Stoneleigh Foundation as Executive Director in 2014, after serving as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
She has extensive experience in philanthropy and public policy. She spent over a decade as Program Director of Children, Youth and Families grantmaking at the William Penn Foundation, where she oversaw the Foundation’s efforts in public education, youth development, and early childhood care and education. Her work at the Foundation included a number of systems reform and service integration efforts, including a partnership with the University of Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia to develop a comprehensive database for youth-focused community planning and research. In collaboration with other Pennsylvania funders and the Commonwealth, she developed and implemented Pre-K Counts, a public-private partnership that led to substantial state investment in quality pre-kindergarten programs and became a model for other jurisdictions nationally. Subsequently, Ronnie served as a partner with Opportunities Exchange, a strategic consulting firm specializing in early education, child care policy, and systems change. She began her career as a litigation and family law attorney at Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel.
Ronnie is the past President of Philanthropy Network’s Board of Directors and the former Chair of the national Early Childhood Funders’ Collaborative. She is currently a Board Member of Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children and the Philadelphia Health Partnership, and serves on the Selection Advisory Committee for the GreenLight Fund.
Ronnie holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
