Stoneleigh Visiting Fellow Robert Listenbee announces his retirement from the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
District Attorney Larry Krasner recognized Robert Listenbee on Friday, announcing his retirement as first assistant in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Listenbee is heralded for increasing diversion programs for the city’s youth and reducing the number of kids in out-of-home placement.
Listenbee has worked with the D.A.’s office for more than seven years after leading juvenile justice efforts under former President Barack Obama.
“He has been a national player for some time now — and every bit of it was earned,” Krasner said.
