Pennsylvania Bar Association passes resolution on youth court

As a direct result of the work of Stoneleigh Fellow Gregg Volz, The Pennsylvania Bar Association unanimously passed a resolution on youth courts in May 2011.   The resolution calls for the establishment of a state-wide Youth Court Advisory Board to expand youth courts and support youth court legislation.  The Youth Court Advisory Board will comprise of the various Youth Court stakeholders, including but not limited to judges, lawyers, elected representatives, police and probation officers, educators, students, faith based and philanthropic leaders and others from the law, justice and education communities.
