Nyrhae Williams will serve as an Emerging Leader Fellow at the Health Promotion Council (HPC). In this role, she will conduct a community mapping assessment and an audit of HPC’s initiatives to ensure that its violence prevention programming is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and youth-centered.
Nyrhae recently served as a Restorative Justice Intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where she provided case management support for individuals impacted by the justice system; co-facilitated restorative justice circles to promote accountability and healing; and participated in research, data analysis, and advocacy efforts. She also has experience in early childhood education and community engagement through her involvement with Jumpstart.
Nyrhae holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Temple University.
