Anthony Simpson served as a Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow at the National Network for Youth. In this role, he worked with Philadelphia’s advocacy and service provider communities to design and implement youth-driven solutions that tackle youth homelessness.
Anthony is a seasoned youth organizer who previously served as Juvenile Law Center’s (JLC) youth advocacy fellow. He is a longtime advocate with JLC’s Youth Fostering Change program, which advocates for policy reform with young people who have experience in the child welfare system. In addition, he has served as a member of the Philly Homes 4 Youth coalition, which seeks to end youth homelessness in Philadelphia, as well as the Pride Task Force at Valley Youth House.
In 2018, Anthony received the Pennsylvania Statewide Adoption Network’s Youth Advocacy Award for his extensive community work in Philadelphia. He studied Business Administration at Community College of Philadelphia.
