Stoneleigh Fellow Danielle Sered was appointed to the Advisory Council for the New York State Office of Victim Services. Her appointment to the Advisory Council results from her work with Common Justice, which employs an innovative approach in dealing with violent crimes and promotes equity and fairness in the delivery of victims’ services. She will serve in the Council for a 3-year term ending in June 30, 2014.
The Office of Victim Services established an Advisory Council on victims’ issues “to assist in formulation of policies on the problem of crime victims.” The Council includes members who have demonstrated an active interest in or obtained professional knowledge of the problems, needs and treatment of victims.
