The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention
Janene and The Health Alliance for Violence Intervention are conducting a comprehensive national survey of compensation for violence prevention professionals (VPP) to compare VPP compensation to livable wage benchmarks. Their results will provide a powerful tool for addressing gaps in sustainable violence prevention efforts.
Kasey Thompson
Former Stoneleigh Fellow
Incite Learning
Kasey, as founder of Incite Learning, is partnering with Rock to the Future to create trauma-informed trainings for young people and nonprofit staff that integrate neuroscience and somatic approaches. Through this work, she is also developing a Framework for Youth Thriving that supports youth wellbeing over time.
Rufus Sylvester Lynch

The Strong Families Commission, Inc.
Rufus and The Strong Families Commission, Inc. are organizing statewide for the 8th Annual SOC Symposium 1) to celebrate the creation of the Commonwealth Citizens Council, Inc. and 2) to work with local, state, and national government leaders to remove systemic obstacles that impede the greater involvement of responsible fathers in their families’ lives. The Symposium will also celebrate the Commission’s involvement in the State of Pennsylvania’s recent decision to establish an Advisory Committee to Promote Greater Father Involvement and the creation of a Permanent Fatherhood Commission.
Leslie Acoca
Former Stoneleigh Fellow
National Girls Health and Justice Institute
Leslie, as the author of the Girls Health Screen and founder of the National Girls Health and Justice Institute, is partnering with local nonprofits to interview girls about their experiences in Philadelphia’s youth justice, child welfare, mental health, and community health systems. The results of the interviews will contribute to improving access to physical health, mental health, and trauma care for Philadelphia’s young women.

Education Plus Health
Julie Cousler and Education Plus Health are sustaining critical behavioral health counseling services for hundreds of students across several Philadelphia public charter schools.
