Pennsylvania to fully adopt the Fostering Connections Act

Governor Tom Corbett will include the Fostering Connections Act in the 2012 - 2013 budget at the recommendation of Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children.

The act "extends adoption and guardianship subsidies until age 21, expands the eligibilty criteria for youth who can remain in care until 21, and allows youth to re-enter foster care between the ages of 18 to 21."
