PACTT: A Model for Change in Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Academic and Career/Technical Training Alliance (PACTT) was identified by the MacArthur Foundation as one of four Models of Change in 2010. Models for Change provides funding, technical assistance, and other forms of support to a range of juvenile justice systems reform efforts in four key partner states: Pennsylvania, Illinois, Louisiana, and Washington.
Stoneleigh Fellow Candace Putter is leading the work of the PACTT, which, as the report states, is providing "concrete improvements in the way Pennsylvania's youth in placement are educated, trained, and equipped with the skills they need to make the transition to productive adult lives."
