About Stoneleigh Foundation
The Stoneleigh Foundation exists to improve the life outcomes of vulnerable children and youth. We target young people impacted by violence as well as those in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems—or at risk of involvement in those systems. We meet our mission through fellowship awards that support accomplished individuals working to improve these systems through research, policy change, or practice improvement.
We work to:
- nurture new approaches and ideas that lead to widespread policy and practice change
- change how public and private systems work together to meet the needs of the whole child
- develop new knowledge through research and its translation to policy and practice
- support individuals and a community of fellows who can make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children
