Jody Greenblatt, JD

Creating a Comprehensive Philadelphia School Safety Strategy

Jody Greenblatt currently serves as the Executive Director of the The Philadelphia City Fund. Previously, she worked as the Deputy Chief for Climate and Safety at the School District of Philadelphia, a role for which she was selected following her three-year Stoneleigh Fellowship.

Prior to her Fellowship, Jody served as a Juvenile Master presiding over truancy and child welfare hearings; as a Law Clerk at the Court of Common Pleas, Family and Criminal Divisions; and as an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia’s Law Department. She also served as a consultant for the Southeast Regional Office of Children, Youth, and Families, where she was responsible for developing and implementing policies governing the Department of Public Welfare’s licensing of county child welfare agencies, residential facilities, foster care facilities, and adoption agencies.

Jody holds a bachelor’s in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
