Increasing Access to Services for Youth with Disabilities

Claire Grandison currently serves as an Independence Foundation Fellow and Staff Attorney at Community Legal Services of Philadelphia (CLS).

Previously, Claire was a Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fellow at CLS from 2014-2015, where she worked to increase access to services and benefits for older youth with disabilities. In addition, she co-founded the Youth Justice Project at CLS to address the lack of holistic legal representation for transition-age youth in Philadelphia. While in law school, Claire received the Public Interest/Public Service Scholarship, and upon graduation, was awarded the Mussey Prize and elected to the Order of the Coif. She began her career as a Program Associate at the Coalition for the International Criminal Court.

Claire holds a BA from Vassar College and a JD from American University, Washington College of Law.
