Stoneleigh Center was honored to receive an Imagine Award from Educating Communities for Parenting (ECP). Since 1995, the Imagine Awards have been presented to pay tribute to organizations who have distinguished themselves as powerful advocates for children, youth and families.
According to ECP, this year’s recipients, Communities in Schools – ELECT/CTC, Philadelphia Family Court, and Stoneleigh Center “represent the synergy and power that can emerge from the combined efforts of those whose work impacts on both the public and private sectors”.
Alba Martinez, a long-time friend of Stoneleigh Center, presented Executive Director Julia Dutton with the award. She spoke of John and Chara Haas’ commitment to children and youth and the importance of their vision in creating Stoneleigh Center.
