The Stoneleigh Foundation, the Family Justice Clinic at Temple Law, and Philly Voice for Change co-hosted a webinar featuring a presentation on and dialogue about a community-driven advocacy framework that is rooted in the principles of liberation movement-building and community lawyering.
The Family Justice Clinic at Temple Law advocates in partnership and solidarity with families whose stability or integrity has been impacted by state intervention. The clinic’s advocacy seeks to uplift the voices, and follow the leadership, of families directly impacted by state systems. Philly Voice for Change works to prevent family separation and enhance stabilization for impoverished Philadelphians by creating community-based coalitions, fostering self-sustaining programs, and delivering essential services to individuals and families in need.
