Doing Sorry: Why Restorative Justice is Necessary for Serious Harm
May 19, 2026
The Stoneleigh Foundation, the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth, and Common Justice co-hosted a virtual fireside chat between two luminaries in the restorative justice field who are actively building responses to harm and violence that move beyond “saying sorry” to “doing sorry.”
Through their riveting personal and professional testimonies, Danielle Sered and Kempis ‘Ghani’ Songster laid out a vision for restorative journeys of accountability that survivors, young people, and communities deserve.
