The Stoneleigh Foundation hosted a webinar about the role of hospital and community-based violence intervention programs in interrupting the cycle of violence.
Hospital and community-based violence intervention programs have shown effectiveness at interrupting the cycle of violence by leveraging the moment of crisis as an entry point into long-term healing and support. This webinar featured a presentation on and dialogue about the work of Healing Hurt People, a comprehensive, cross-systems model that integrates hospitals, schools, mental health providers, and community organizations to support youth and families who experience violence and trauma.
