Submit an Emerging Leader Fellowship Application

 Application Process

Our application process begins early each fall and brings together interested fellowship candidates with organizations seeking to host a fellow. The process has four steps:

1. Partner organizations submit to Stoneleigh Foundation a description of the project they are interested in pursuing with a fellow. Organizations should see Instructions for Submitting a Project Abstract.
2. We advertise selected projects through our website and email distribution.
3. Interested candidates apply directly to the partner organization using the Candidate Application.
4. Each partner organization selects a candidate and together they submit a Joint Application to Stoneleigh.

Timeline

The general timeline for applying is as follows (exact dates to be announced):

• September 28, 2011 - Information Session for organizations interested in hosting an Emerging Leader Fellow
• October 21, 2011 - Project abstract due to Stoneleigh
• November 3, 2011 - Projects will be available on our web site for interested candidates
• November 29, 2011 - Candidate Application due to partner organizations
• January 13, 2012 - Joint Application due to Stoneleigh Foundation
• March 2012 - Notification of Emerging Leader Fellowship awards
• July 2, 2012 - Emerging Leader Fellowship begins
• June 30, 2013 - Emerging Leader Fellowship ends
