Julie Cousler Emig: Our Newest Public Policy Fellow

Julie Cousler Emig, our newest Public Policy Fellow, will be working with the City of Philadelphia to develop a city-wide truancy plan in order to improve the city's graduation rate.  Working with the Mayor's Office of Education, the Philadelphia School District, Department of Human Services and Family Court in a cross-system collaborative, she will assess, enhance, and coordinate existing truancy prevention and intervention efforts. Through her work, Julie is seeking to improve education outcomes for students in Philadelphia's public schools.
