July 2009

Happy Summer!

The last few months have seen some significant changes at Stoneleigh. In March we moved into new, larger offices at 123 S. Broad Street. This move improves our ability to convene meetings with our fellows and others and - importantly - has also allowed us to add new staff.

Susannah McQuillan joined us in March also and brings a wealth of experience and skills to our program. Click here to read more about Susannah.

We have held several meetings with our fellows and consultants from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service - Research Center for Leadership in Action. Together we are refining our funding model and developing ways to enhance the peer interactions among our fellows.

Kelly Siegel completed her year as a junior fellow with PCCY during which she helped put the Positive Behavior Supports program on the map. We were sorry to see her go but happy to welcome our two new junior fellows for the 2010 fiscal year. On July 1 Arley Styer and Wanja Ogongi began their fellowships with the Education Law Center and Community Legal Services respectively. Arley and Wanja were the successful candidates in a well qualified field of applicants with compelling projects and we are happy to welcome them!

Please take a look at the web-site for more information about all these activities and watch for our announcements in the Fall for the new application cycles for both the senior and junior fellowships.
