Fellowship Program

We see a continuing need for creative ideas and leadership to address the needs of children and youth. Because we believe in the power of individuals to effect social change, Stoneleigh Foundation awards fellowships to talented practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to develop and test approaches to improving policies and services in the U.S. child welfare, education, and juvenile justice systems.

Stoneleigh Foundation's fellowship program currently supports two groups of fellows:

Stoneleigh Fellows are mid-career professionals interested in promoting positive change within the systems that serve children and youth and who have demonstrated the ability to bring their ideas about improved policy and practice to reality.

Stoneleigh Junior Fellows are recent college graduates with an interest in public policy and/or social service research. The fellowship allows them to work with a nonprofit organization to develop and implement new approaches to policy or practice, or to continue research begun through a senior thesis or capstone project.
