Junior Fellowship Program
In time, the fields of child welfare, education, and juvenile justice will need a new generation of leaders. For this reason, we support Stoneleigh Foundation Junior Fellows, recent college graduates with an interest in these areas and in social policy research.
Purpose
Our program has a dual purpose. It provides an opportunity for exceptional recent graduates interested in public service to work for one year at an organization in the public or non-profit sectors of the greater Philadelphia area. The Fellowship provides a dynamic, hands-on experience for the Junior Fellow, resulting in a tangible work product that can advance the career of the young professional.
At the same time the program develops the skills of young people, it also advances the work of the partner organization. Successful projects give partner organizations an opportunity to strengthen their program through policy, research, or advocacy work.
