Meet Our 2010 Junior Fellows
We are pleased to announce our 2010 Stoneleigh Junior Fellows: Sophia Hwang, Stefany Tobel and Joslyn Young.
"The Junior Fellowship is an opportunity to engage young leaders interested in social policy and practice and in finding solutions to issues affecting children and youth," said Julia Dutton, Stoneleigh Foundation Executive Director. "Sophia, Stefany and Joslyn will be involved in projects that will provide exceptional professional development experience and help advance the work of their partner organizations."
Sophia Hwang is working with the Health Federation of Philadelphia's Multiplying Connections initiative to ensure that human services professionals receive training on the effects of trauma in children.
Stefany Tobel is working with the Philadelphia Education Fund to improve graduation rates for at-risk middle school students.
Joslyn Young is working with Research for Action to examine how youth can apply their social literacy expertise to in-school academic literacy.
