Danielle Sered Presents the Common Justice Model

Stoneleigh Fellow Danielle Sered presented her Common Justice work at the National Center for Victims of Crime Conference in Washington, D.C. on June 20, 2011.  Danielle's presentation, "Engaging Young Men of Color Harmed by Crime: A Participatory Approach", provided an overview of the Common Justice model and the challenges that service providers face in trying to meet the needs of young male victims.

Danielle also participated in a dialogue with audience of the New York premier screening of Concrete, Steel & Paint on May 10, 2011.  The film documents the conflicting views on punishment and forgiveness of men in a Pennsylvania State Prison and victims of violent crime who together created a mural about healing.
