Kerriann Laubach

Kerriann Laubach is a senior at Washington and Lee University from Pittsburgh, PA majoring in Environmental Studies and Biology with a minor in Poverty and Human Capability Studies. This summer, she did an internship with Chester Youth Courts under Gregory Volz through the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty. At Washington and Lee, she rides on the Varsity Equestrian team, serves on the University Sustainability Committee, sings with the W&L Chamber Singers, serves as a Residential Adviser for First-Years, and is president of the Student Environmental Action League. She has been doing water quality research for two years as part of a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship, and will be working on a related Biology Honors Thesis this year. She is very interested in the connections between environmental, social, and economic sustainability and hopes to go into public interest environmental law.
